I am dedicating this blog to my good friend, Shari, who lost her life to breast cancer on May 7, 2009.

In April of 2007, Shari was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, which accounts for 1-5% of all breast cancer patients. She had months of chemo, some surgery and radiation, which ended in April 2008. At the end of May, her blood test were OK. In August, she had a scan which showed the breast cancer was back. She started chemo again at the end of August and was fighting it until she passed away on May 7.

Shari was one of a kind. She would have done anything for anybody and not asked for anything in return. She was a super friend. I will miss her alot and am deeply saddened.
